I want to direct link to thousands of products for a CJ affiliate. However, I wanted to know if this is even possible with CJ without paying an arm and a leg due to low quality score. Is it possible? I can deep link to thousands of products, the affiliate does not say this is not allowed. I guess I am just wondering how adwords treats the CJ redirect links. Or if I need to start looking for other alternatives. Too bad you can't use the old keyword redirect links anymore =[
For some reason, people think QS has more to do with the page than anything else. Use relevant keywords to the page and you've got half the battle won. The other half is great ads that people click. Therefore, no problem linking to a CJ or any other affiliate or page on the web. Unless of course the affiliate does not allow this. > Too bad you can't use the old keyword redirect links anymore I'm not an affiliate, less so a CJ affiliate, so I don't know what that is. As far as Adwords is concerned, as long as the landing page domain name matches the one in your display URL after any redirects, no problem.
I suppose for good reason, and i understand your mention of correct keywords & ctr once firing is a key and agree with you. Where the problem lies is imagine your campaign is a car, and keywords is your fuel and ctr is your accelerator, if so then you would build your car put in the fuel and hit the peddle and your away, yes that is true How ever with the new land page rules where this goes wrong is many affiliate land pages / sites are crap and not full web sites, they are often one page short form cpa offers or a one page sales letter from places like click bank ? possibly cj And in most cases these sales / land pages fall short of the minimum requirements from google in that they are seen as a bridge or maybe a mirror page and because of this the quality score starts out at rock bottom and it really does not matter from there what keywords you assign or your ctr as it all falls to bits. An analgy of this is simple if we come back to our car its a bit like our car having 4 flat tires before we start to drive it. It may have fuel (keywords) and you may hit the gas with a good ctr but no matter what you do with 4 flat tires you will not travel very far down the road, or if you continue to drive you will rip ship out of the car and end up driving a wreak not worth a penny. if you look at the required pages, about us/ contact/ privacy site map/ and maybe the spare as resources you start to cover some of the basics. and that does not cover good content or layout, regular updates and many many other factors Currently i have tested about 20 sites and from that found only one or 2 that drive down the road with 10 / 10 QS, the rest crash and burn.
Hye, you may end up paying more due to low quality score, Check out this article, it will answer all your questions: http://netsuccessblog.com/2009/11/1...ive-an-alternative-to-the-direct-link-method/ Cheers
You certainly can deeplink to multiple pages via CJ links - I'd advise checking that each landing page is very closely related to the keywords that you're bidding on.
