I viewed a couple of those sites but still cant get it to work. I installed wp through fantastico. Uploaded the plugins and themes. Then went into myphp and dropped the tables of the existing wpress and then restored a copy of my new blogs .sql file but still no good. I have no access to the original host's site so Im working with all the files that were given to me. I know Im doing something wrong but cant figure it out.. Thanks

Is WP even connecting to the database?
Have you edited wp-config.php to point to the new database?

That's what you pay 'em for :D

Just out of interest... what was the problem? I'm looking to move a few WP sites around, and am puzzled at what could have caused the problem.

It was a mistake on my part which they didn't specify when I asked but they did tell me what they did on their part.

Apparently yes even though I was convinced that I had set it up correctly.
