Hi Yesterday while going through one of the threads here at DP, I found at a thread that you can buy domain names at Godaddy with a coupon code for a measly $2.17. I went ahead and bought this domain: www.autoupdatingblogs.com I have not been able to decide what to do with it; whether to sell it for profit, put up a site selling a related service ( I can do that), just let it remain in storage or park it with a webhost. Can somebody advise the best course of action for it. Or what could be the domain's worth if I do decide to sell it. No. The site has not been developed at all. That is the main purpose of seeking advice regarding the best course of action, or the worth of the domain name.
Its a three words name, so not much there, reg fee at the moment. You could turn it into an autoblogs directory, then it will worth something
Generally any domains that are worth anything have been registered long time ago. Anything that you can pick up for reg fee is worth only what you paid for it.
Thanks. May be I should do that. Another option I am seriously considering is to start selling a service where I sell custom made blogs. I am already doing that, though at a much smaller scale. I could put up a full fledged website, with all the necessary pages, and promote it like hell. Lets see how it works out. Anil Pandey
its too long domain name. cosist of 3 words having 17 alphabet. You can make a blog directory there. or you make a Rss submission directory My advice is to sell this one. even it goes around 50$ Because monetizing site with long domain is tough.
