Hi there i was wondering what's the method to keep pagerank of a "dropped" domain even the domain dont have any backlinks , its a redirected domain that was auctioned by godaddy. pr update is done but the domain still retain his faked pagerank. example : www.cy-sd.com please help me understand the tricks thanks P.S. building backlinks fast is not the answer.
First, of all don't do tricks. People don't like it and you will upset a lot of people. If you buy a dropped domain and it has PR with no backlinks, the only way to keep the PR is to build backlinks to it.
Find out what the site was previously and make a site on the same subject, Then continue to build related links. If you go and throw some shitty directory or cheap script on it that has no relation to what the site was previously the PR wont last long , you may be lucky and last the first update but not many more. Keeping it related to the previous niche will google to start indexing the domains previous backlinks again because they are related backlinks and you will get the benefit from them . I have around 7 domains which i picked up 2 years ago and they have retained their PR all this time so i know this works
The most important thing is to put some similar content on that domain to keep it work.And then try to get more links.You'd better develop a website similar to the former one,and work hard for it.Then you'll make it.
