Haven't got windows 7 yet, but my friend got an early release copy of it and says it's great. It uses very little resources compared to vista, and like someone above mentioned, is really fast.

Windows 7 seems to be what Vista SHOULD have been. At least microsoft seems to finally be listening to their user base.

 

Wow, i was on a website and some one brought it for $0.57. I didn't believe it when i saw that.

 

I just got my DELL studio core i7 and Windows 7 really rocks with this processor,works superfast,I am in love with this windows

With that kind of processor, any OS may run superfast

But i would like to expect a review from you on that hardware. How it differs from quad core or core2duo. Coz i recently heard the programs or games which are released till date have been using only two cores in some cases 4 cores. Did you try you hardware with heavy weight games? Would you recommend that hardware?

i heard about window 7 .it is more faster then xp and vista and also comfort for all application but right now i am not interested to change my current OS .

So that means I will not be able to upgrade with XP. Sob!

i have windows 7 i upgraded from vista i love it worth the upgrade and all my programs work and all my files etc are still here.

 

I'm remebering Conficker, and how it took advantage of a network glitch in Vista, so I'm going to hold out on Windows 7 for a few months, incase the same thing happens again. You never know.

 

Actually for me isn't cool at all. If you are trying to show something with that TAB bar at the end of the screen I can tell you that Firefox does it lot better.

But I like it about the web. That "stealth" connection is good, you can watch porn and you don't have to clear cookies. That's the best part of it.

 

That made me laugh a little. The Conficker worm is nothing if you know how to properly take care of your computer. It's not even a serious worm, it's nothing.

i agree with this, but it have an expired date on my 7. but im sure to buy my own Win 7 when released the full version

 

How did you get on with drivers, I have 2 printers that will not run on Vista, what else will I lose If I convert to 7??

hey my drivers works good in here, i think maybe you need to run it with XP mode.

There is a huge collection of drivers in 7, or if didn't pickup any just update your win 7 with windows update it'll get it from net.
