Jerry, PPC is a tricky beast as it's such a broad field. It's like saying can anyone tell me about cars? there's just so many cars and types of cars.

Adwords- adwords is the king. but is getting harder and harder to advertise on if you don't have a quality site.

Yahoo / MSN - not as much traffic as adwords but often results in better conversions.

Facebook - my current favorite method. You can target your demographic and by people's interests easily. you don't need a quality site to get your ads accepted. Can be a bit expensive but VERY profitable because of the mass amount of users and targetting available.

    hope that helps.

facebook has a pay per click advertising program have you ever been on facebook and seen the ads on the right hand side there ppc check it out but i use adbrite i think its the best because 5 pounds on google adwords would get me about 12 visitors lol and adbrite would get about 100 visitors. because with google adwords your cost per click is based on your keywords so i was paying about 70p a click and thats expensive but with adbrite i pay 0.6cent a click but not as targetted as adwords but i still think it is well worth it google, yahoo and msn is way way to expensive.

    Hi there guys,

I am also a newbie in this internet marketing... i wonder how you do things... for example, at azoogle I can pick a product or service I can promote...do you create a site about this product/service, and then buy traffic (PPC) which you send on this site, or do you send directly thru affiliate ref code? Maybe both? What is best or most common? I read, Google makes it harder for affiliates lately...

For example, I want to try selling some fitness supplements.. how would you start doing it? Create a simple site (like entry page)... and then go to Google and buy PPC traffic... send it to your site?

Or am I missing somewhere something? Would this plan work, or do you guys do something completely different?

    thanks!
    i.

Facebook has ads on the right side of the site. You can pay to place ads in those spots. You can then target based on a whole slew of demographics. Age, single, in school, etc... You can even target based on people's interests using keywords. It's a bit of clunky system but it works and you can make a ton off of it.

You must be sure to track everything so that you know which ads and campaigns are converting (and hopefully profiting) and which aren't.

No that plan would work. Although, Google is reducing the number of affiliates promoting on their site so it might not work with them.

With facebook I don't even create the entry page. I know that others do and get good results but I personally haven't tested that (yet).

Pick an offer, build a site and drive traffic...

Building a list along the way is a good way to re-purpose the traffic you have already paid for. Tracking at the keyword level is MAS important... Launch like crazy. Get some good tools to help you automate the campaign building process and DON'T be afraid to invest some money in your business. There's no magic button but there are lots of good tools to help you if you are willing to work.

Creating an ad at facebook is REALLY easy. You just need a link to your offer or LP (I just use my affiliate link). You then need a picture ... something that will grab people's attention. Finally, you need some ad-copy to describe the offer.

I find the system to be the easiest way to make an ad on any of the PPC systems... mostly because you can see EXACTLY how your ad will look. The system they've developed is a bit clunky but it works.

There are no tricks...that's the secret

Create a webpage from your customers perspective, offer a freebie, and email market afterward

    Simple

But there is a step before that... that is - driving traffic to the webpage, this is where PPC comes in handy and it's the fastest and yes the 'cheapest' way if you are doing it correctly.
