The Proxy Discussion Thread

It is simple.. setup custom search..Paste the code in theme's config file... use trial and error method to find approximate width of search box.

 

I will try this and let you know. Fresh ideas are always welcomed!, especially when they bring $$$.

@ Alex.ohc - This isn't a very good idea, because users go to your site because it is a proxy. So when they get tricked by your search bar they won't ever come back, this will probably result in you getting smartpriced and losing out on repeat visitors.

 

i dont think so.. if they search something, the result will open in a new window. So they will comeback to the home page and will try the 2nd box.. there is no cheating. I ve clearly mentioned that the box is for searching. Whatever, the search box generated an extra 15$ in last 7 days. So i think it is cool

 

Can we use Adsense in Proxified pages ? Is that against adsense TOS?

 

I agree with you, google encourage publishers to use the custom search box

try with glype once and u can compare with php proxy and u can decide
