YPN pays more than google adsense !!

    Hey guys,

I was just doing a comparative check of adsense and YPN.

I came across a couple of YPN stat gifs online which show that for 40 clicks people got paid about on an average 40 $ .

Now, seeing the overture keyword " mba online " pay per click is approx 6 $ while i get paid only 1 $ - 2 $ for 40 clicks which sucks.

I think that YPN would be a better option for webmasters and most if not all, will shift to YPN from google adsense when it goes worldwide.

    What say guys ?

Well this whole month Yahoo rates suck balls for me anyways. RPC has dropped a ton and so I was really thinking of going back to Adsense as that would yield higher CTR. I think the reason Yahoo is dropping balls this month is that Ad targeting is really crap all of a sudden for me and many others and it's the last month of Summer.

But I feel its jus something they are experimenting with..

Dont you agree that the revenue you were getting was higher than google the first couplea months when you switched to YPN ?

Right now, and most of this month ypn is paying me on par what AdSense does, and some days AdSense pays more than YPN, I havent had a $1+ click from ypn or even close in a long time, this morning I noticed my login page and I had earned 9 cents on ypn, I am assuming that came from 1 click and not two etc.

I see no difference right now between ypn and adsense except AdSense ads are a LOT better targeted, I am just waiting until after schools start up etc, to see if YPN rates jump way up again, but I believe they have bugs worked out, and now will stay like this, because advertisers were losing too much money for a year or so.

Right now, I make on average with YPN for every 25 clicks I earn revenue of around $4.00, that is from 4+ sites with different subjects, I used to average over $30 for the same amount of clicks

I have some test to share with you about CTR:

    The same site off course:
    Adsense : 15%-22%
    YPN : 3.5% - 6%

Now in wich one I earn more? about 6 month at YPN but now at Adsense

I cant believe that people are saying this , ok this normal but you cant say Yahoo Publish Network is better then Google Adsense Network you cant crtisize both of them by simple facts..

I also use YPN and Adsense and many more.. But the fact i cant say YPN>ADS ORD ADS>YPN because it matters what your vistors would like to click or don click on the banners...

THe coordination of the site matters most and the configuration is more important.

Yahoo Search method is diffrent then
Google Search method such as altavista or msn or craggle etc.

So its impossible for some to do any analysis and saying this..

The time line is the most important fact for typical anlysis...

I think the biggest issue currently is Ad Targeting and Summer. Last 2 months seem to have been pretty slow compared to other months.

Traffic in the MySpace "niche" is pretty useless no matter which ad network you use.

Yup... I thinks so when seeing my YPN revenue is soaring higher than Adsense. Maybe YPN ratio is much more higher than Adsense.

Should the YPN goes worldwide, the ratio will be much more higher.

Sure it doesn't convert. But when you push $8k a day off YPN in the Myspace niche it's great.....

Yahoo started out paying really well, but now they are about the same as adsense.

Of course, no one should expect YPN to be paying that good for long, it is in beta phase. Soon it will just be like adsense in terms of pay per click.

Yahoo Pays decently, they used to pay amazingly. Their ad targeting is so poor that they are loosing advertisers, thus the lower rates. If it doesn't improve they will never get out of beta.
