Hey, When trying to list my site I always get this error: Please verify the text in the image The text in the image and the text you submit in the input field must match. If you cannot read the text, refresh the submission form. Please go back in your browser if you need to resubmit the form. I have tried so many times and I know the text matches up with the darn image!!! Any ideas on what to do? Regards,
I've heard of people not getting the captcha on the ODP before. My suggestion is to simply move on, and promote your site on other directories. There is a chance that the category you are submitting too has an editor that does not use the suggestion pool any way, so trying more then a handful of times in that case would be a waste of time... and even if the editor does use the pool, there is always the chance of someone with greater permissions that does not use finding your site on another directory/blog/search engine/other resource... so go on & make the best site ya can make and forget about the ODP... they have already forgotten about you
yep server keeps giving errors even when you click on suggest button before you even come to that horrible captcha, I'm guessing it is another way to further discourage submission because few people can still read captcha and anyone that can read it must be evil SEO and museums I've submitted are still not listed, I wonder what kind of content actually gets listed at DMOZ? its not unique, its not culture that DMOZ is interested so?
Way to go for staying with the program there revr]! Your meaning is really misleading and all together UNHELPFUL. Unless you really do mean addition as in math rather then increasing the number of submitted links, maybe that is a sign that the ODP editors are no longer adding sites to the directory that don't belong to them. *boggle* OH OH... or maybe you are just trolling?
