Need some pagerank advice

Hi all, I run a pretty basic inventory of some items for a company using cubecart (Small budget so not much customization on the site).
The site has been up for almost a year and the page rank is still ZERO. What am I doing incorrect? I have META tags setup in CC, as well as a little bit of content as you can see. Any think I can do to increase this traffic? I am new to promoting sites and indexing them so please be basic with me. I thank you in advanced!

You need to change the title, dont use capitals and remove the (Powered by CubeCart).

You only have 9 backlinks from 2 urls with a high amount of outbound links on those pages, build backlinks to increase pr.

 

Don't remove the power by Cube cart. Give them their dues.

PR is based on links. IF you want to increase it you need to get more links.

 

putting the sites link in your sig file won't go a miss
as well as gaining other links.

 

the best thing you can do is forget about pagerank. It means very little. Write good SEO'd content and get as many quality backlinks as u can with good anchor text

 

Too many Keywords,it's hurt the web

 

OK thanks. So I should remove the keywords from my META and try to get more backlinks, possible put some more content writing on the page. Could you explain the anchor text better? How are some good ways to get backlinks? Post on Craigslist some of the items? Maybe forums like this one in the signature? Adwords?

 

try to optimize 2 keywords per page and build relevat link to your site

 

Get lots of high PR backlinks. Then you'll have a PR4 or above.

 

My advice is to forget about toolbar PR and focus on what matters...quality content.

A> Don't worry about the PageRank. Rather your focus should be getting more traffic from Google. PageRank is rather outdated concept of 2003. In 2009, higher PR does not necessary mean more traffic.
B> Your site has very little unique content. It has high number of keywords / links, but very little content. Even the description of products is not unique.
C> Focus more on generating number of quality backlinks.
D> With your niche, may be adwords may perform excellent. If you have some budget, try adwords.

 

You can first select your unique keywords and build some good quality links... [social bookmarking, web directories, article submission etc.]..

how many backlinks should i make to be my pagerank went up.. i blog more on current sports news.. here is my blog - maospad.com.

 

Just increase in PR won't help you a lot, your alexa rank is also not that good you should Do some bookmarking and link building of you site, make a blog related to things you are doing in your site and comment on the other related blogs, take part in the forums and give some good contribution and you can have a signature on your every post which may help you to get some traffic also.

 

it doesn't depends upon the quantity of the links but the quality of the links
