i read everywhere on their site it doesnt say how long a customer has to stay with hostgator before they pay you... i know i read they hold you money for 60 days, so im guessing they just have to pay for two month and you get 50 dollars for them only paying 20 dollars in hosting am i correct, because i run a web site building with wordpress and i recomend hostgator because it easy to work with and i know they first month can get got with a penny so, im just wondering if this is correct? customer pays for hosting one month>you get 50 dollars comission? or how doe sthis work sorry if its a dumb question but trust me i couldent find a clear answer on hostgator
If you don't have a commission junction account you should go get one, you can make more money with the same Hostgator program run by CJ from my experience. HG is tiered and CJ isn't. Short, non exact answer to your question is that if the customer signs up, pays for a month, and they rebill (pay next month) you'll get paid. That would be why there is a waiting game, it helps prevent fraud and improve the overall success of the program, which circles around and makes sure it pays well to you!
They'll pay you after the customer pays for the 2nd month. If you are with CJ, each sale is $100. Hostgator is a solid hosting company and their affiliate commision are the highest in market.
Well, they pay you for what they would have paid in advertisements to get customers. And generally people stay with a host once they use it. So, they earn more than what they give to us.($50) - Digital -
Not really the highest there are some host paying same amount .. and some even more.. but people go for hg easily due to popularity
What everyone said is correct, the cost of advertising to a customer is at or even higher than the cost of a valid commission. We have a 60 day hold in both our in-house and CJ program, to allow for fraud checks, money back guarantees, chargebacks and overdue flagging. If you join CJ please make sure to read all of our terms clearly and realize that you will not have the same tracking available as our in-house program, such as domain names and live statistics. Our CJ commissions start at 100 dollars per sale, our in-house starts at 50 dollars and will scale upwards of 125. If you have any other questions please send me a PM, or email us affiliates (at) hostgator.com If you choose to go in-house there is always the oppurtunity to bump your base rate as well, just let me know and we can work something out.
yeah i already have a commision junction. account im gonna start i kow of at least like 15 people for sure i refer that are going on like their 6 mont or so..... here my little mind was thinking cpm HA Can They pay OFr two Months Off the bat, or do they have to wait for the next month bill to come. im just thinking i think i can push a 2 month pre pay easier then a month by month
We offer monthly, yearly, 24 months and 36 months with discounts for 24 and 36. While we do not offer quarterly or semi-annually at signup, customers can email sales to pay for additional months at anytime. If your customers can pay for one year that would be the safest way to secure a commission.
And it goes for any plan they choose right or do i have to push a certain plan, it dont matter either way just wanna make sure i do it right the first time
