    How many US dollars would it take for you to live comfortably in India? Like where you just get by, but you have everything you need?

    One US Dollar = 45 INR nowadays ! (earlier it was around 50)

    And it completely depends upon the lifestyle of people that how much they want to survive.

    Some people even survive in just $20 and some can't live happily in even $20k.

    Now to give you an idea,

    1 bottle of Budweiser ~90 INR
    A movie ticket in a decent theatre 150-300 INR
    Meal for two in a decent restaurant 300-500 INR
    Non branded t-shirt ~ 100-250 INR

    I can go on and on ..but i guess that will give u a fair idea.. In any case, it all depends on the individual's lifestyle ... If you are rich and want to blow money u can .. but if u don't have much money , there are cheaper alternatives to almost everything ...
