Contest $25 Logo contest (72 hours)

I am going to run a logo contest for 72 hours. 300px x 85px is needed at the moment, but if you design for 900px x 255px the higher resolution could be used in the future as needed (easy to scale down). The site is NascarSheetmetal.com. The official Nascar logo should not be used just as a reminder.

Payment is via paypal only

 

i am wondering to know, if there is a special request from you.. because designing an effective logo need few information about what things do you concern on your new website, and what picture should be the point of interest n the logo..

after that, i can try to choose the right colour to use on your logo, and try to made the logo..

Well the site will sell small pieces of race used sheetmetal. So far the site has not be developed. Colors are open right now. I will design the colors around the logo.

few thinks need to be changed... font sheet metal, the colour of METAL (seems to define with real silver metal).. and the shadow of the sheet metal will be nice if no shadow..

nascar is fast moving car.. so it need some "fast moving stuff" description on the font NASCAR..

need little image too... Logo is a combination of font text and picture.. not just text..

what do you think?

 

Those are some good ideas there. I am not sure if a picture would help or not. We may also want to see how sheet metal looks as one word also (it looks like it is searched more than 2 words in google's keyword tool)

dedegarfield - I really like the idea and look of that tire being the "c". There also seems to be too many conflicting concepts in it with the checkered area, text style for the nascar part, text style and gears in sheetmetal. The triangle one could be used in a smaller square area as needed, but might not scale well for a rectangular area.

scorpionagency - That looks nice and slick yet not too flashy. I like it.

CannonLogin - Clean an stylish, but seems like something is missing.

clubnokia4u - It is a bit too simple. Not a big fan of flames.

 

colour and font style can be change, and none needed part can be throw away as your wish... will send the the newer version soon boss..
