I just haven't taken the time to develop the site honestly, so like a loved pet, it's better to let it go to a good home where it will be cared for and thrive; but unlike the pet, it's not free

Spears Pictures gets an average of 160 visitors a day, but then there are an average of 300+ that go to the Britney Spears sub domain. I'd created a sub domain for Jamie Lynn Spears but had never developed it - a smart buyer will take the time to build the other sub domain and capitalize on the additional keywords.

Revenue has been minimal via Google AdSense as I've honestly not done much marketing or updating; about 1.60 per day. This will undoubtedly increase with some better ad integration, traffic and marketing. Also, it will fluctuate based on news and buzz surrounding the Spears sisters.

The auction will end 3 days after the first bid or one week from time of this post.

I will not sell if the reserve price is not met; I will merely pay someone to clean up and further develop the site in preparation for the birth of Britney's second baby.

I have already done a site backup (tar.gz zip file) of the main site and the Britney Spears sub domain, ready to send to the new owner.

Any links on my other sites pointing to spearspics.com and britney.spearspics.com will remain for no less than 90 days. If the new owner develops the sub domain for Jamie Lynn Spears, I will provide a few links to help you jump start some exposure and traffic.

FYI - I am doing a lot of travelling this month so I may not be able to post immediate responses to any questions, queries, bids, etc. - but I will check in at least once per day over the next week.

 

Regarding a PM asking about traffic sources. I will answer here for all to see; when it comes to site sales, I prefer that all questions, answers and bids be public so there is no misconceptions.

I know everyone thinks that Google is god when it comes to search engines, but many celebrity and entertainment website owners will tell you that Y! and MSN have a good share, if not dominate, of the market when it comes to the entertainment sectors.

It doesn't look like this is going anywhere. If the site doesn't sell in the next few days it will "come off the market" but then I'll be looking for someone to do some clean up, building, etc. if someone is interested.

sorry if this has already been answered, but what is the site age? and for those of us new to pics websites, are there any legal/copyright issues we should be aware of?
