If You Earn $100/Day from Adsense on 1 Site, How Much Will You Sell Your Website?

I never sell a site which is giving me $100 per day. I don't want to kill the golden goose!

It all depends how stable the income is, the risks that may follow and most importantly how wide is your potential Audience who may wish to purchase your site, Niches vary wide and far as to the amount of people interested in website sales.

I currently have an excellent website for sale, but am having a hard time finding potential buyers as not many people are aware of the upcoming changes to HTML in being HTML 5 which is currently in development, i want to sell now, but should i hold onto it for a year or two when more people are using HTML 5 then i could sell for much much more. It's a hard game at times.

 

I never sell it before I'm boring with it..

 

I think there's no good solution for that. Buyer wants to buy cheap, seller wants to sell expensive. It's all depends on website.

I always find that selling any business you value the business on the money it earns over a 4/5 year period.... And lets not forget that using websites to make money is a business!!!

As far as I have seen, websites sell in the market about 10x to 20x their revenue.

 

I just hit $92 yesterday, I couldn't see myself selling the site for any less than $50k.

 

You should not sell that site for sure.

I wouldn't sell the site. It is free money and you might as well keep it.

 

A lot of posts are saying that they wouldn't sell the website, but if we have a "what if situation" that the site requires 4-5 hours of work per day. If you sell it you get 4-5 hours of FREE time and you can start working on something else that might bring you more or at least it will not require so much time.

I think selling for 1 year profit is very reasonable, surely we can add some potential depending on the traffic and other factors, but 12months is a long term.

I'm not close to the 100/per day mark, but the more I get, the more time I spend near this PC without much of an enjoyment. If I get to the more then 4 hours of work per day mark, I will not continue maintaining it.

 

may be in 100000 dollars but i don't think so that if i have a site giving me 100$ daily i will sell him i think never ever.

 

It all depends on the quality, content, earnings, traffic stats, niche, domain age, etc.

But, I recommend not to sell such revenue earning sites or blogs.
