Hey guys I have created a blog about 2 days ago, and i have pinged it and done some social bookmarks as well. However its still not been indexed by google. I have checked the privacy setting and it seems ok. Can you guys please help? Take care M
Give it some more time. If you have got some links from some regularly crawled sites, you should be indexed soon. If you can build a sitemap, build one and submit it via Webmaster Tools.

When i went to add the website in the google webmaster tools, google asked me to do the following:- "Copy the meta tag below, and paste it into your site's home page. It should go in the <head> section, before the first <body> section." Now how can i copy paste meta tag in a blog?? Its not a website...
Do not add affiliate links until Google has befriended your site. Or else, you ill not be indexed at all.
Stick it in your sig once you make the require 25 intelligent posts here at DP and after a week lapses.

copy it into your header.php in theme file between the head tags. submit your blog to http://www.jumptags.com. it will help. and give more time to google. just create new posts for your blog.
There are Google XML Sitemap Generator plugins for Wordpress. You can try to build sitemap and submit to Google.
