What are your websites/blogs all about?

I am in the process of learning web development and SEO but I really have nothing to build a site about.

I am thinking about creating a blog or something but I don't really have anything to blog about, I could blog about web design but I couldn't come close the challenging the top blogs out there.

I could blog about my interests but I don't really see writting about my extra curricular interests being very productive.

Be interesting to see what other people here are blogging about or building site about...

 

Your blog/website should be about something that you have an interest in.

My website and blog (see signature below) are all about Mount Everest as I have a real interest in it.

 

Dude - don't belittle yourself!

These 2 subjects have high interest of a vast following.

What you need to do, is get yourself a blog right now, and write about all the things you learn, as you learn them. You'd be surprised at the interest this can generate ... and besides, you'd have a journal to look back upon. Wish I had done this.

BTW: my best advice is to get started NOW. Get a domain name, a host, and use the WordPress software. See this post: Easy 10 Minute Wordpress Install with GoDaddy. This is the best no-brainer way to get started.

 

I had actually considered this, blogging about my learning process. Would almost be like my online "notes". I am also starting a degree in February from home on computing and design that is based around object oriented programming.

What are your thoughts on blogging through Joomla, I've built Joomla sites in the past, never really used wordpress much.

 

Start a website related to something you are expert in. Like you mentioned about Joomla. If you know Joomla just start a website related to it and post "tips and tricks" or "short codes" etc...

 

It will be easier to keep blogging if it's something you relly enjoy and have a genuine interest in.

 

Start blogging or site about you have really interest in like me I have interest in girls so i have made a blog about girls beauty which u can see in my sig.

 

I have a blog about make money online and webmasters topics.

 

I have blog about technology....

 

You must blog about something that you are fairly knowledgeable in. if not its just a wast and u cant add as much content as you could if you knew your niche real well.

- Immigrating to Canada and adapting, this is how and why I started the blog... 3 years old

I agree with others, you must blog about a subject you truly like. Writing is going be painful otherwise, and it will show.

I have some blogs on health, and parenting. Those have good income from adsense, I find.

 

start searching internet and see that what people are looking for which is not in the market. Now a days you can only earn if you have some new and unique concept in your mind. Do not go for something which is already there in the market.

 

I was browsing Flickr one day and stumbled on a photograph of a misspelled Hebrew tattoo. Hebrew is my main language, so that made me stop and stare. A quick Google search, and I realized that most of the Hebrew tattoos out there are composed by people who know next to nothing about Hebrew. That's how my blog was born.
