Not sure if everyone saw it or not but Chitika have announced Shoplincs. I've reviewed them here. Basically they are a shop that you can put on your domain. They manage it all and they are based upon your site's RSS feed in terms of the products they show on your front page. I've been beta testing it and have a digital camera shoplinc linked to from my digicam blog. So far the results are pretty good from it. eCPM is excellent.
I just saw this when I logged into my account, I'm still vague on the idea, but still applied! Anyone want to explain what it does?
Takes the RSS feed from your site (or any other RSS feed you want to feed into it) and will make a little shop for you. You can see mine here.
You never know, but the minimum earning is $0.01 which can be generated by you clicking your ad once... The max can be up to the man above to decide!
I just got Shoplincs up and running on my site. They have been up for just 2 days so far but the first days revenue was quite good. CTR is good and the payout per click is the same as regular Chitika ads that run on your site.
ShopLinc is giving $ per click or per product purchesing.....? WHat is Main Diff. Between Main chitika ad (the first one)and ShopLinc?
lucky...I'm still waiting on mine, I think I applied on Saturday or so! How is it so far, have you set it up yet?
So far so good although it has only been going for 2 days now. The first days reports have been promising. I think once I figure out how to properly market the Shoplincs page it good be good. BTW my Shoplincs page is here. I don't have it setup with a subdomain yet.
Looks like a good start! While we are sharing shoplincs, here is mine. I've been running it for a few months now and I'm quite happy with the performance. Like Darren mentioned in his blog post driving traffic to the shoplinc can be an initial challenge, however once the traffic is there the conversion rates are very high.
That is a nice design, do you manually create the design using HTML or a pre-defined template? I don't like the design a lot, but the idea is brilliant!
