What is 'Master reseller'?

how is this different from a reseller package? ty in advance for ur answers.

 

I am asking about those vendors who advertise their hosting services. Some offer reseller accounts and some other master reseller accounts.

Exactly correct. You would be basically selling resellers AS WELL as normal shared accounts.

What kind of account would I need to sell alpha master accounts though?

 

You will need root access to sell alpha accounts i belive (not entirely sure (maybe a mod to allow another level to sell))

A Master-Reseller simply enables you some features that isn't enabled on the default reseller plan. On cPanel(if that is the control panel you are talking about) you are allowed to re-sell reseller plans on your account, and edit a few more settings.

 

If you decide to get a VPS or dedicated server you will also need to add the software to be able to do it, like WHMPHP or WHMReseller.
