Hi guys, I've never used clickbank before, but would like to try it out. But I thought I'd ask - what is your experience with Google/Clickbank? In other words, does Google look down and penalize sites with affiliate links to Clickbank? Should use my own sites to promote clickbank stuff or create a hubpage / lense just for that purpose? Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks. GM
No I don't think so... I myself promote clickbank products, doing okay okay... but I don't really think it affects google's rankings...
No, they won't treat your page any different because you have links to clickbank. However, if the pages you link to have been identified as malware sites, there may be some PR ramifications. That's really the only circumstance where it might happen. But even in that scenario, it's unlikely.
If you are concerned about the outgoing links, why don't you mask them and add nofollow? Personally, I have no issues with SERP for the pages containing clickbank links.
Can't describe it better! Go for a 301 redirect link masking, if you are concern about clickbank's hop links. As simple as that.
