I've been using LivePR for Firefox for several years now. For the last few months or so it hasn't been working correctly and isn't showing PR (N/A) for different sites. I'd rather not install any Google authored add-ons (Google Toolbar) to my browser. Anyone know of a good add-on for Firefox for keeping track of Google PR?
SEOQuake indeed, just make sure not to overuse it when typing queries in Google, otherwise you'll get a temporary ban.
Thats rite..as these tools are sending continuously query to google for page rank .. makes it server slow so they may ban these softwares.
Is it that important to keep track of your PR? why not just go to http://www.dig.com and check your PR on a daily basis there without any software installs
SEOquake is a great plugin for Firefox. Its more than just a PR checker. You can see the number of indexed pages of your site in Google, Yahoo, Bing and even you current Alexa rank.
SEO quake is damn good. Just make sure you add it to your firefox header, so that its below the address bar. If its just floating at the top of a websites content area, you may not be able to see everything. Also, if its floating on the top of the websites content area, it misses up your scroll, so it looks like every website you visit has the ability to scroll to the right... It got me a couple times when I was working on a website, I thought there was something wrong with the site, but it was actually the toolbar. But I have had no problems with it thus far, other than above. It has been accurate 100% of the time, and shows some pretty darn good information as far as websites are concerned! Good luck!
I always use Google Toolbar to check PR. But, when it requires to have a deep look, I use digpagerank. Thanks Mong for providing such a useful tool.
I use Quirk SearchStatus and has Google PR, Alexa rank, options to highlight nofollow links, link reports and much more.
i am very happy with SearchStatus, you can look at it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/321
