The name "Google Dance" is often used to describe the index update of the Google search engine. Google's index update occurs on average once per month. It can be identified by significant movement in search results and especially by Google's cache of all indexed pages reflecting the status of Google's last spidering. But the update does not proceed as a switch from one index to another at one point in time. In fact, it takes several days to complete the index update. During this period, the old and the new index alternate on Google. At an early stage, the results from the new index occur sporadically. But later on, they appear more frequently. Google dances.
duh? That has got to be one of the dumbest posts on DP in a while! Google stopped the monthly update "google dance" in 2003. Its been been doing continuous updates since then!
I think of the Google dance as referring to the inevitable bouncing of ups and downs as you make changes to your site and google updates it's internal factors. It has nothing to do with Google changing their algorithms.
Exactly, but still when time to time fluctuations happens in google ranking some people think that it is Google Dance. They need to update them at least some time if they are in internet business.
when google ranking is going up and down in just one day and This happen with all websites then we can assume that google is being update algorithm. This updation is known as google dance.....
I use rank checker and I see my sites dancing all the time. It's like everytime I refresh it they seem to have moved.
So the Google dance that I have been doing every morning for the past week to get more traffic to my site is not going to work like the $47 ebook I just purchased said it would?

Google dance is what happens when Google made some updates on there database. When these happens our rankings usually goes up and down SERP rankings.
Do you guys have any idea what you are talking about? No its not! Here is the most authoritative statement on what the Google dance was: http://dance.efactory.de/ I will type this next bit really slow: THERE HAS NOT BEEN A GOOGLE DANCE SINCE 2003
