Hello DP users I would like to run a news site using wordpress,but i have several problems,as i dont know how to build a site like this.So, my site will be like below I want to make NEWS site,but I won't add news myself.There are several news site around,and I want to place only headlines of these news site on my site.And then,when a visitor clicks to headlines,he goes to the original site. To be exact I want to build sites like below. tweetmeme.com retweet.com alltop.com Is there any wordpress plugin that can do all these? Also I want headlines added every minute,as it will be news site Thanks for the help
So you want to build a mashup, like Get Some News, eh? It's really easy. Just get a content syndication plugin (feed wordpress etc.) Find some rss feeds that only show summaries. Insert the rss feeds you find into the plugin, and you are good to go. If you need more detailed help, you can PM me.

The autoblogged plugin is a good way to grab and syndicate content on your site. I've not used it, but heard that it was good. I'm not sure what it costs thought. There are many news RSS feeds that you could pick up for your site.
Yes, feedwordpress can do this, and so can autoblogged like someone else mentioned. autoblogged is feature-rich and costs $, while feedwordpress is free and basic. the big difference between the two is that autoblogged will pull the rss content from a site but allow you to add a link to the original content. I recommend checking them both out.
