Why we cant upload animated picture on our avatar?

    Hello friends,
    I have tried many times to post an animated picture on my avatar but every time I got the message from admin that you cant upload animated images.But I have seen many guys with animated images on their avatar on DP.I want to know if they can then why not us?

    Normal users cannot use Animated Avatars ... from what I know only Mods/Admins. atleast SarahK used to use 1 :p

    Its disabled it makes the site look unprofessional according to shawn the admin

    My avatar hasn't changed since before the days when vBulletin could differentiate between animated and normal gifs. If I changed it now I'd be on a regular gif like everyone else :(

    Well... that's not *entirely* correct. Mods are able to have animated avatars. :)
