Making money from free We host

I have been running a free web host for around a month and still havent found any way to monetize the site.Am using LP2 and adsense earns arnd 20$/month.

So can anybody suggest a way to make money from free we host.

 

If you've got a lot of page views on your service, you can use CPM ads instead of CPC.

Free hosting is a tough one. Most of the hosts don't last long, for this exact reason I'd bet.

 

Try SEO my friend.
I'm sure you can manage to let them have a single link to every page of the websites powered by your free webhost.
Link it to your Free Webhost site.
Then let your Free Webhost Site gain the link juice.
Proper planning of the site, you can manage to get the PR juice of it and link it to another blog/site/forum that you will use to install this Adsense/Bidvertisers/other PPC/CPM programs.
And Booom!
It became Money Crunch!

 

I guess now its against adsense tos to run ads in free web hosting sites but there are plenty of other networks which can do better in this kinda of scenario!

 

Do you try sell some paid hosting along with free hosting?
You can give paid hosting more feature such as more space and bandwidth.

 

Agreed. Other options include more direct support like email instead of forums, a change in server where all the free clients are on one server while the others are on another, additional resources like mysql databases and email boxes and the like.

 

Place banners on the website, email your users and ask for donations, make them pay for more upgrades, i.e. smtp

 

Offer upgrades, eg removal of banners, extra admin options, more space and bandwidth, a normal paid webhosting account

 

Try to post articles on article directory. You can save lot of time on promotion.
