I'm really not trying to be a jerk, but I don't think it's fair when people cheat. I am a moderator on a different forum, and this kind of thing really sticks out to me.
@muslimrao - The two entries you posted are free templates from other sites. It's really not fair to do this to the contest holder and to the other designers.

Great catch. I was actually looking around in Google images and even used Tineye.com to 'scan' his entries but to no avail. Thankfully you did it.

Come on guys, please design something instead of posting a premade template.

Obviously you have made some changes to it but in essence its that template doctored slightly. This contest is for a unique design that has been custom made. If the Contest Holder wanted a template dont u think he would have bought one??

@everyone - does this happen a lot on DP? Im new here so have had my eyes opened. My suggestion is if you use IE or Firefox is to install the tineye.com plugin, you can right click a design and see if it exists elsewhere.

 

Well I've never seen it happen so much in such a short space of time. Whats that, 4 copied designs in this thread alone? Usually its fine but its people like this that spoil it for the rest of us.

And there is the clue. Spanking designs provided by members that have only been on DP for a month or two with no itrader history. I appreciate that everyone has to start somewhere but trust is earned not given freely. A couple of nice genuine designs so far but the 'borrowed' templates do look good.

BTW, I started off with using content of L4RGE, but as it was down in the afternoon, I used content from the other site, so content' s a mix up. Hope it doesn't matter. Thanks.

 

Now I ve really started to hate digital point contests. I ve entered 2 recently and the CH abandoned them, and see most other website contest threads without a winner. If the CH doesn't want to pick a winner he could atleast let us know so we can move ahead.

 

Mate dont get angry be patient.. Theres always another alternative of selling your design in the template section
