Well, is there an official announcement about the PR update, I've heard it so many times, they said Google ditch the poor PR tool. =(, sad to know if there will no more yardstick on ranking.

 

PR in webmaster tool yes, but the PR is still available.

 

Does any one has a clue whats going on with the PR update ? will it ever occour ?

 

wptheme is right, the toolbar PR is not going anywhere (for now)

As for an update, I haven't noticed any changes yet.

Page rank has not gone, its just not being focussed on as much, there will still be an update.

so they really going to do away with pr that would suck for a lot of people lol

 

I could see them doing away with PR. But we will need other way to rank our sites.

Who cares... ive had PR0 sites earning $50- a day and PR5 sites making 0.50 cents a day, at least if they dump the PR people can get back to adding quality content and hopefully stop spamming my blogs with rubbish links..

 

I do not focus on how to increase PR, I focus on content and ideas to create new article and make PR increase as natural
