Article Directory Promotion

    Hi

    I would like to get people to submit article to my new article directory www.hotmake.info but the PR is only 1 is there anything else i could do or offer publishers to get them to publish to my directory.

    Note for the moment im not to concerned about SEO i just want some fresh content.

    keep working on your backlinks and be patient. Try to rank well for your keywords and you will notice that people will automatically start registering and posting articles......so SEO is the key here.

    I will advice you resort to the traditional ways of internet marketing and don't try to reinvent the wheels. Drive traffic to your site and watch it grow.

    Below are a few ways to go about that.

    1. Optimize your site

    2. Article Marketing

    3. Blogging

    4. Forums

    5. PPC

    And so on.

    If it is a article directory your talking about then i'd advise you to aggregate articles from different sources and then index them in search engines and promote. Once your traffic increases authors start coming in. You see no one would want to publish their articles where their are no users. Afetr you've done this try sending out a press release if you can afford it.
