Which would you use if you were trying to get only one result into google for longer term phrases with only about 6,000-10,000 monthly searches? I would like opinions based upon time it takes to get indexed, the better results once indexed, and the ease of maintaining front page placements. (Likely not blogger for maintaining because I don't plan to post new content, just a single post). Let's say the content were to be the same, and the only thing I'm running them through is pingler once I've got them up. Are any of these three web 2.0 sites going to have a particular advantage over the others in terms of ranking, SEO in maintaining and getting ranked, and any other possible reason.
You didn't mention the competition of the long tail, only the number of searches, or did you mean competition with this number? Well it would make sense to use Blogger, since it's owned by Google, and we all know google love to eat their "own dog food" e.g. It's no co-incidence that youtube videos rank extremely well in google is it I am not sure why you would exclude Blogger purely because you were only going to do 1 post, there would be no penalty for doing that in my experience. Squidoo has traditionally ranked well for me, as well as hubpages. One reason you may want to exclude hubpages is that they do not pass on page rank on outgoing links until your hub reaches a certain level of "coolness" in there eyes So this may be a factor in your determinations. Why not take the time to put ALL 3 site up and link to each other. Depending on the competition you may find yourself on page one for all 3 The best way in my opinion to rank well quickly for a long tail is to put up a video and then just add a few backlinks to it. Enjoy! Cheers Tim
I think I will set up all three. It will allow me to spend more time getting results for the research I do. Despite all the long tail words I see now, it'll eventually run out and so dominating the front page will slow down the time it takes me to run out of words and increase profits in the end. Thanks for the advice.
To be frank I create article for all three of them as all of them bring high traffic for me.. I can't say one is better than other. Mainly I create one seed article and then with the help of mass article control tool , create other articles and submit to all of three sites..
Blogger can't compare with hubpages or squidoo. because squidoo or hubpages just tools give a link for blogger
You mean all of them are the best ? and what is mass article control tool? i didn't use it before kindly explain about it
Squidoo recently paid me for a lens i hardly have worked on , amazing stuff! They are good along with hubpages.
My vote will go in the favour of Squidoo. - Its have less ads like of hub pages (where they add Google adsense in your hub) - This one gives you freedom to add many other interesting things and html freedom as well. - Active and supportive community (Once you will be active you will enjoy a lot) - Index faster if you will use some basic promotion option.
