Suggestion Area 51 teasers

Why not give regular users a glimpse into Area 51 to help them decide on a Premium Membership. Something like being able to see the list of threads but unable to open them until they upgrade.

Thread titles but wouldn't be able to open as a regular member. Incentive to upgrade.

 

I think all the extra option's we would get as a premium member would be convincing. Why on earth viewing teaser titles would make us get premium membership right away?

On this point why not have us view the titles in the staff board.

 

I agreed with you.. showing titles of the thread can be a good option.then the member can decide to choose paid membership.

You do understand that the non-premium forums will *always* be busier than Area51 right? Area51 isn't exactly the highlight of the Premium membership, it's the other features that come with it.

 

Access to the private forum isn't the reason you should become a premium member.

 

The private forum is a much better reason than a bold username and two extra signature links.

 

The Premium Forum is great because Shawn and the other Admins/Mods take part in the discussions and answer questions. The premium forum is only one of the many benefits us Premium Members get. Think about signing up, support DP!

 

The BST changes is the main benefit.

 

I agree but I would think Area 51 is just as important.
