It seems like every buyer who contacts me in regard to whatever I am selling always says that I need to give them the sites or files first and then they will pay. Both times these people had much lower Itrader. Once person I am pretty sure scammed me (my stupidity) but I am not 100% yet as he said he'd pay me tomorrow (probably won't but yeah, my fault.) Second person insisted I give them the site first, but I said I couldn't because of what just happened. I don't know if it's just the people, or if Itrader just doesn't mean anything to people now.
i noticed alot of the times itrader is fake.. so many people have more then 1 account on here. im sure they probably give them self itraders
That's true, you really can't go by iTrader so it's up to each person to be smart about protectiing themselves,
The seller should always take cash first. You can't go in a shop and say give me the chocolate biscuits first and then I'll bring the money in.
I always require payment first / upfront, unless it's links they're buying from me (I'm always happy to link to them first, then expect payment once links are live).
Despite low itrader, I still always request payment upfront unless the member has been here for a long time and has a lot of itrader.
what about ip address? I guess it should be easy to catch people with multiple accounts ....just my guess not sure
As iTrader is to know the person that he is trustworthy or not.but the new member with no iTraders can also be trustworthy.
I don't recall that being recorded in the iTrader system. Been scammed twice now. Once by someone with a fairly high iTrader. I will not buy anything from here anymore.
Actually it depends on the person with whom you are dealing with. Joining date and itrader helps in reduces the risk of scams.
I've learned that lesson the hard way. The seller has not given me the money, nor has he responded to my PM. It is totally my fault and I should have known better. Funny thing is I've been selling things at DP For almost 3 years now and this is the first time I gave the item and then asked for payment.
