Good Article on Page Rank

    Regardless of what Google wants to happen, PageRank is still extremely important to anyone marketing on the web, especially if you're selling SEO services or operating a web business. Try selling SEO services when that little green bar on your site is pointing to PR0 or worst yet, pointing to a solid gray bar.

    PR is only about backlinks weight and not about ranking!

    Right, PR is only useful for marketing and selling links. Otherwise PR is gimmick from Google to entertain Webmasters.

    Didn't read the article, no need to know you are wrong!

    If PR is about backlinks weight, (as you said) what is backlinks weight for???

    Why are you gathering backlinks??? - I suppose like all of us for better rankings, no??

    So what is PR good for (apart from showing a value in the green bar)? ;)

    PR is about backlinks. Take another look at what Google has said on this. What Google is reffering to here is website ranking not page rank. Pagerank is one of the 200 indictators that determines a sites rankings. If you are concentrating on pagerank soley then you are ignoring the other 199 factors that Google uses to rank your site in the serps. Most importantly On page optimization and content. It is easy to get a high PR on a site that has few pages linking out and very few internal links, However with alot of contenet you will have many inner pages therefore spreading your PR throughut your site which may lower your pagerank but bring up your rellevance and bring up your serp positions.

    Myself I am kind of stuck on the visitor thing, I think it is much better to give value and have a on of visitors from all different directions that in turn makes me money..

    Silly me for wanting that!
