    Hello,

I would like to get an advice from SEO pros :) My website will be finished in 3 months (design, programming, data entry and so on). I have made now temporary website with short info and main keywords.

Would it be good idea to start link building to that temporary website with just one page? What could you suggest to do at the moment to make it easier to rank well later?

    Sorry for my bad English.

    And thanks for the advices.

In my opinion. Published the full site first then do SEO on the full site rather than one pager site.

It really depends on the web site and the niche.

I would also say that you create your site first & then only start up the seo work, the results would be better than doing seo for a website with only one page.

Make a list of good blogs, forums, article submission sites and be ready to start work when site is published. You have 3 months to write a lot of articles so use the time.

Hopefully you planned out your on-page and on-site SEO strategy long before having any web site development done. This is the mistake most often made by site owners. They pay someone to build them a site and THEN they want it optimized for the search engines. The time to SEO the site is BEFORE a single line of HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript is written.

I would never have put up a single page "coming soon" kind of home page. You only get one Google Honeymoon for your home page, and if you already have a page indexed for your home page, you've blown that opportunity unless you though ahead and added a <meta name="robots" content="noindex"> on your temporary home page from the day it existed and/or at least added a disallow: / directive to your robots.txt.

I would recommend you wait until your site is complete before starting to build links. You don't want visitors coming to your site looking for information on your niche only to find a "come back later" sign on the front door.

I think you can start with Directory submission for your main domain and try to submit as many as directories.. It will really help in SERP and build up a strong base of your website..
