Hi. I made site where I sell text link ad. I think it is quite interesting and maybe original idea. But how can I make people to buy one text link Even if site is 100% original and interesting and unique, why should people buy text link from site which is new and have no visitors?
People buy text links for two purpose 1. link juice 2. traffic. if you can provide any of these, you are in!
The base parameter by which you sell text link is the PR value of the site. If site has high PR then people think it passes more link value and hence you have higher chance of their buying link back from your site. Even if your site is PR0 you can still list in some text link broker sites but dont expect much link trade or link buying from you. Just as anything else, money gravitates towards more money or more power in this world. In here, more power equals higher pagerank.
Unless there is some motivation in the form of some traffic initially, there is no motivation to invest time money and effort into making the site popular. Fear of loss is greater than the lure of profit.
break the law lol...those sites are pretty popular...just be sure you dont have anything of it connecting to your identity
I think it depends on your promotion.So you'd better try your best to make it popular as soon as possible.Without enough traffic,nobody would like to purchase the links on your websites.Then your original idea will become meaningless.
Welcome to the internet Kuna. Unfortunately your idea isn't new. It has been done for more than 15 years. Before you can think about selling ad spots, you need to increase your traffic.
thanks everyone. I know that text link are invented many years ago. It is very hard to make original idea. So I have to take care of traffic. If I have more traffic I have more chance someone buys my ads
