How to Track Twitter Traffic ?

Can any know know the software or script to track twitter traffic , I just want to know how many unique daily from twitter ?

then track it from analytics.

 

Why don't you use Google Analytic or Histat to view how many visitors came from twitter, and what did they do?

 

Because analytics will show them as direct.

 

Why will analytics show them as direct .. what about using a short url service which gives u stats of how many clicks uve got

 

You may try googleanalytics.com for that it is best site which track all the traffic and tell from where and how much traffic come to your site.

 

bit.ly will not be shown.

Because %99.9 use twitter software to read tweets.

I think you should use google analytics. Place analytics code in your website so then you will be able to track from where you are getting traffic on your website.

If you sign up for a Bitly account it will store your info and show clicks on the links. If you use only that link in one post you can track it through bitly. Click = visit

you could also use the regular link and track referrals from "twitter.com" through Analytics

 

What about sending the twitter traffic to a redirect on your domain ... so something like:

http://mydomain.com/twitter

that redirects to http://mydomain.com ... that should show up on google analytics.

Here's another idea: Just buy and self-host your own url cloaking script (get one from a warez site or buy one cheap). You can track all clicks in your admin panel.
