Please i want estimate the size of damage for me, i am waiting your reply.
What you've been drawn attention to was that copies of your vbulletin files were discovered to be running on other websites which means exactly what it looks like. You must have been informed about the websites involved so that you could start investigating the problem on your end. That's where you should start, get in touch with the current website owners.
Been sent hundreds of letters on his site And supervisors with him and members also Registered several names and sent it to no avail They seem to refuse to admit to theft
You could always contact the hosts of the sites running the installs and request they remove the licenses. It is after all the one that you paid for.
beleive me I looked for all the information through http://whois.domaintools.com/mybookface.net And sent the same message to this emails and sent the same message to each member and admin in this forum Registered more of the membership , then i get a banned .. I am desperate Can anyone help
Have you reported to byethost.org ? That is where they are currently hosted. If you already have done that ..did you get any response from the Bytehost Support Team ?
Use this to get in touch with host http://byethost.com/contact I am sure you should get an response soon. However if that does not work, you may try this http://xlhost.com/contact.php This seems to the company bytehost has rented the server. Best Regards, MM
Mr Mobile-Monster Thank you Been sent one ticket to this site http://byethost.com/contact how do I send one ticket to this site http://xlhost.com/contact.php
I suggest you wait for a while to get a response from the host (they probably will ). If not you can just use the contact emails provided at xlhost.com/contact.php Hope that helps
Cal813 i don't know , only 20 days ago been open a ticket with Technical Support for vbulletin.com to ensure the validity of the license , and The response of the Support that there are pirated copies from my license has been installed on 2 site and should be deleted immediately , the primary site my site and another site installed on free hosting for test and been delete this site. days just been sent this ticket to ensure the validity of the license, and this was the dreaded Site , do you think it may be the free hosting ??
TESTING is not allowed to be on a different server! You do a test install on your SAME site under a testvb folder, which is password protected. No wonder they are asking you to take it down. You broke their agreement and TOS. Also, if it's installed somewhere else. It means someone HAS your files. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to use vB. So somehow someone got your vB files and used them somewhere else. Either that, or you let someone use your files, which is breaking the rules once again...... IT IS YOUR! responsibility to keep your files safe.
solution is you need to make sure NO ONE has your files. And no offense, but you shouldn't sell your license and I hope NO ONE buys it from you. Because, chances are if someone has your files. They will be distributed else where or someone still may have access to them. I know the vB staff will NOT recommend any of your buyers, that try to verify the license to buy it from you. Why? for the same reasons I listed above. The new users will be at risk of losing the license, if someone out there has the files still.
