How about 300 dollars for one keyphrase (non-competitive) and the 300 a mo deal for more keyphrases?

last year, we used to have a guy who did personal SEO for some sites.. around 150-299$ bucks per site.. he will announce and list what methods and techniques he used..

it depends on niche and original content.. when u do SEO for 10 page website and 1000 page website, it's very much different just in off-site optimization techniques.

hope u get the project soon..

    good luck

I do SEO part-time and am getting paid 1200 bucks/month from three different clients. I've been doing this since this summer and will be upping my price a little more since I'm gaining more experience.

This to me suggests you are an inexperienced seo. You should not be focused on rankings for one particular keyword. Search traffic is what is important, and sending lots of targeted traffic which converts for your clients. Treat each page like the homepage of the site.

yeah I am agree with you, no one should shout in the forum like this that he is a beginner in SEO field and expecting at the same time to have some business from an esteemed client. First prove yourself that you are worthy of getting those money and then you can charge what u think is best for client and for u.

My point is $500 a month is low for SEO if you consider other big SEO companies charging $$$$/month doing the same work as you do.So why the difference? The secret lies on the way you market your product and the place.

I think you're looking at this all wrong. It seems like you're trying to sell SEO to SEO people, which is like trying to sell ice to Eskimos.

Go out and find sites that aren't doing too well. Do your homework on a site, then contact the site owner WITHOUT making any sort of business propositions. Just point out a enough little things that are going to give them results they'll notice that they can do themselves to give them faith in what you know.

They'll be back if your stuff is any good.

What you have to remember is that without a solid track record and proof of it, you will struggle to break in.
Two sites ranking is not very good track record, maybe solid proof but lack of longevity.
Say you were working for me and I had an mp3 site with 5 pages and another site with 100 pages? are you going to charge me the same for both?
    Small tidbits to think about....
What campaigns have you worked on so far?

I think $500.00 a month is fair for low, non-competitive keywords. For any high searched for, highly competitive phrases or keywords I usually charge in excess of $3,000 a month. With that said, you may not be advertising at the best place. Not to sell out the DigitalPoint members as there are some serious webmasters here, but many are simply looking for quick fix solutions and are not willing to fork out $500 a month.

3,000 a month? You must have a stellar track record? I can only imagine what the sites are bringing in that you are working on, in terms of financial gains? WOW!!!

How long did it take you to perfect your craft?
