Do You know what is searchoodle.com

Today my Google analytics showed me I received more than 150 uniques from Search. It is almost equal to the Google traffic. I am trying to learn what analytics means by Search. I tried search.com but my website is not in the top. I tried searchoodle.com to find my website in the top there.
My question is does anybody knows what is searchoodle.com and how to optimze for it. Please contribute to the discussion as this is a genuine concern.

That is most stupid question I encountered in my life. Have ever tried to see what the site is? It is having more than 20000 uniques per day and is a search engine. I received more than 150 uniques today from it without doing anything.. I am trying to learn something about it...

 

I think you could be jumping to conclusions.

 

Regarding your question, it could be bots or someone testing. I don't think that SE would bring that many visitors for one site's keywords.

I have a similar thing for my sites sometimes. I don't know really what it is.

 

seachhoodle is crapy clone of search engines. no need to optimize for this site. you can optimize your site for google. Google is best.

 

You could be right.. But the thing is per visitor page view is more and also the click on adsense. I have great conversion with the traffic.

 

I am seeing the same thing on one of my sites -- lots of traffic from Searchoodle and an awesome conversion rate for AdSense from that traffic. <insert Twilight Zone theme music here>

My site started getting traffic from seachoodle last Friday. I got about 1,500 unique visitors for the 8 days through yesterday, then the traffic suddenly stopped as quickly as it began. I notice I am ranked #1 for many of my keywords on searchoodle, but I've never heard of them before. It is a mystery to me why the traffic started and then stopped so abruptly.

 

It seems like a cool engine, I wonder what data source is powering it?

It ran from 23 to 31 October.

 

It is difficult to find out much on this site, but according to quantcast.com, "Searchoodle.com is a top 10,000 site that reaches over 209K U.S. monthly people. The site attracts a young adult, slightly more male than female audience.The typical visitor visits phoenix.edu, plays games on freearcade.com, and patronizes Rhapsody."

Alexa says the users are mostly from the U.S. and India. Anybody know more, or have ideas as to why the traffic suddenly started and then stopped?

 

Well you are right about it. It started and stopped abruptly. I dont understand how it was possible send such huge traffic. I received more than 3000 uniques in that time.
I think they are doing some sort of promotion like expired traffic or something like that. That speaks about why the conversion is very less. I earned an additional 20 dollars per day with that low conversion.
They may have stopped the promotion after 31st this month.
There no way to submit or optimize for that search. It is using some other search to power its search results.
Well I really think the traffic flows from it to me.............

 

A promotion ending on the 31st makes sense. I haven't had one visitor from there since.

The latest update is in this month I received only 150 uniques till date. That was on 2nd of November. After that the traffic simply dried up.. I tried to contact them but cannot contact them..
