LOL, no he just pulled out a thesaurus and started swapping words with bigger words to give the illusion of intelligence. Wait no that can't be right because he didn't even spell dissociation right

I started my internet venture with $500, and now ended up with a stable income to live with after 1 year.

Well, here is my sincere answer:
I have not invested any money so far into my sites except hosting costs. I have still been able to grow visitors every month, simply by adding content and doing the usual link gathering techniques. I do not believe in shortcuts.
It really takes time and effort, but not necessarily money.
I also believe that paying for visitors is not going to get you very far and is not going to get you people intereseted in your site.
So I guess most people were just wondering about your time frame.
With $500 to spend, you already will have an edge over my pitty efforts to grow traffic. Spend it wisely, but don't expect people to give you an answer on how to become rich. If it were that easy, everyone would do it.
My advise: Buy some high quality related links and some content.

    :)

If I only had 500 bucks I'd give myself 6 months. I believe there are people out there that could turn 500 bucks into enough to live off in one. I think of the best possible way to do things, not the way everyone else does em. I never accept mediocre results.

for example, it's seen to be really awesome to get a 100% ROI trading currency per year in some circles. But I hear stories about people doubling their account every week, turning 760, 000 into +3 million in 6 weeks, on and on, so I hope to do some of that soon because I met a few people that are doing this well.

I am looking at several grand to start pulling in cash online myself so I'd like to do it in 2 months maximum. I'm sure I will be doing fine with some good advice here and there.

Now you guys are talking about building a content related site and using adsense I assume, getting ranked on the se's... I understand that takes time to build, I've started building a few all original sites that I believe I personally would enjoy. All that takes time, it's an investment in time I understand.

I know there is something I can exploit out there. Something good.

I thought that a lot of people spend a lot of time doing ad campaigns through ad words onto landing pages? I know your ppc costs eat a lot of your profit.

I guess I have a question of what do most successfful webmasters do. Do they sell their own products, affilatte, adsense own products?

I mean I listened to a lot of shoemoneys shows and they always talk about landing pages, affilliates and adsense.

meh I'm finding my way and thankfully some people have been really helping me out!

    Anyway good luck everyone :)

It's kind of like saying, "I heard this radio show with this guy who was a doctor making $400k a year, I want to start doing that." It takes a long time and a lot of education to achieve success online. Just like any other profession in life. There are no shortcuts or get rich quick schemes.

The problem is, there is no single right answer to that one. A lot of people are successful doing a lot of different things.
The choice should be easy: Pick whatever you have the most fun doing and explore your options, try out different things and see what works best for you.
I see this very unfortunate trend, that everyone seems to be in for the money alone. You need to have fun with your projects. Your visitors will at some point pick up on that and return. I see to many useless landing pages and I usually never return. So those guys will always end up spending money to lure people. If you have a good content richt site, people will visit your site and maybe come back.
I get over 50% of my traffic from returning visitors. To me this means either my Google Ranking sucks or some like what I do.

Sort of on a tangent, but here some advice. Start off young while your expenses are low. You have plenty of time to start a career. Once you get older, your financial responsibilities increase (family, career, retirement, etc), and your needs increase. It becomes increasingly difficult to support yourself on something like this.

It's ironic in a way. I'm currently making more money from just my 3 month old website than I was with my full time job at WalMart over 10 years ago.

Ok some facts here, they've done studies but it's obvious to us all.

People who follow their passion and worry about the money later get rich more often then people who do it the other way around.

Also, people like me get rich really fast all the time.

I didn't say, ever, that I wanted to get rich quick, or not do a lot of work. I was saying, what is the best roi. For instance, if you were to ask me, "what is the way to make the fastest, the most money in forex?" And I would reply to find a short time frame trading system with over 90% wins, and a p/l ration of at least 2:1, trade it in a team so you are always watching the market 24 hours, and follow the system without deviation. That's how it's done by many. There is better ways, but thats as good as you could imagine.

Even if you printed the keys to success in investment in the newspaper. barely anybody would do it!

Discipline, that's what it's about! Passion is called discipline sometimes

I applaud those who do their passion only and dont sell out!

I know plenty of passionate people that are struggling financially. Some are quite talented but lack focus.

The key is to have a plan, and to execute it. Throw in some luck, and you have a path towards financial independence.

Just to go back to the original question for a moment...

All you have to do is buy one of those ebooks where "the top online marketers were trapped in a room all day to brainstorm how to get rich in just 30 days starting over again" :D

LOL  . Common man, what do you need us for if it is that easy? Why don't you tell us instead?
Get real and get some experience before making such statements.
Yes its possible, but I think you have all the wrong ideas how this can be done. Some get lucky, some start out rich and make more and some have a really cool idea and know how to execute it very well. However people who make it rich are the minority.
Not everyone who can put some website online will automatically become a millionaire.

    Thank you
