what is the deal with PR3 and only averaging 200 visitors per month? Does PR really goes with traffics to a site? i am confused.
PR has virtually nothing to do with serps. Well it does, but You could have 1 link from a reputable site giving you pr 2,3, or 4 and still not rank for any of your key terms that will drive traffic to your site. Focus on backlinks with varied anchor text pointed to your page. ex. widgets, blue widgets, how to design blue widgets.
hey try to submit articles and sb and also do many other works like seo work it will boost your traffic
like the way i do for my sig here and do the same on other websites? what about submit my articles to SB and directories? will those increase my traffic as well?
Have you done research to see how much traffic your keywords are pulling in every month? It does no good to optimize for keywords that receive no traffic. PR is tricky because it does affect the rankings, however, just because a website has a high PR doesn't necessarily mean it will receive a lot of traffic. Keep in mind that not all backlinks you have will count toward your link juice. Google has a complex algorithm, and it has a way of discounting certain links. For example, if you check your backlinks in Google Webmaster Tool, you'll see that most forum sig links aren't counted for link juice.
pr is not matter for traffic, you would get traffic from raise to competitive keyword in search engine.
PR may have very little effect on SERPs but you should adopt different other ways to increase traffic. Just search the forum and you will get 1000s of post about how to increase traffic.
you can have a site with virtually nothing on it, but have a high PR because a couple of other hi PR sites point to it. You have to have the keywords that you want people to search placed on pages of your site with good copy and content, then you want to build specific backlinks in regards to those keywords with PR releases, blog entries, blog comments, ezine, Hub, Squdioo articles, Directory entries, forums and maybe some reciprical sites.
Google page rank is not concerned with the traffic. Its the ranking given by google to a website depending on the quality of content and backlinks If the backlinks are not strong, relevant and the link building process is not up, then there is a chance to loose page rank well, if the website has traffic, thats all it matters some times. You cant depend on PR always. if the site has a PR then its well and good
