Cheap(est) SSL Providers

    Geesh. I was using rapidssl for a few years because they used to be cheap; I'm sitting here renewing a bunch of certs at $45 a crack. THanks for the list!

    looks like positive ssl you get 10 years at $149, not 1 year at $14. There doesn't seem to be any 'one year' choice.

    Don't know where you are looking, but yes, you can buy 1, 2, 3, up to 10 years... you aren't stuck with only a 10 year option. Keep looking you missed something somewhere.

    With that one... everyone has to install a certificate authority for that cert. With most of the commercially available ones, the certificate authority is embedded in the browser already.
