Why call "racist" when someone disagrees with Obama?

This video and others made by the same group will give insight to the thinking behind what some of the posters here think. So when you don't like Obama's policies or even his rhetoric and you get called a racist, you don't have to be confused any longer by the attacks.

If you don't agree with Obama you are a racist

My thoughts on the video - oh wow, there are others that actually think this way? But I also see the video in reverse of what they tried to portray. There are those out there doing just the opposite and vilifying everyone who disagrees with the One, the great Obama.

No New, your hatred towards Jews is obvious, no need to come up with a way to show it. You can disagree with zionists all you want, that isn't the issue. Your undeniable hatred towards a group of people is what gets you called a anti-semite.

I can disagree with a zionist and since I don't hate Jews I won't get called an anti-semite (by most.)

Because it is basically being called the worst thing Americans can think of, however justified it causes people to be afraid to speak out against the "Great One"...

    It's pretty simple mud-based politics.

This is such a straw man argument. Nobody is saying that everyone who disagrees with Obama is a racist. That's clearly ridiculous. Many of us who support President Obama strongly disagree with him on many issues (for example I believe he should have pushed for single payer health care, I believe he should have ended the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan immediately..) but that doesn't mean we think we're racist.

What we're saying is that when someone is racist then they're racist. To act like there has been no racism directed at President Obama is just as ridiculous as saying that everyone who disagrees with Obama is racist.

For example: when someone plays a song that calls President Obama a "magic negro" then that is racist (Rush Limbaugh: SOURCE.)

So because I don't like Obama's policies... boy that sure makes sense....

You might want to go back in my posts a bit and learn something before you starting shouting things that reflects how foolish you are.

I take it you didn't watch the video I linked to??

The issues brought up in the video are:

    1. Obama wasn't born in America

    2. Obama is a Nazi/Hitler

Yes. I agree with them, these things are based on racism. These are not "disagreeing" with the President. This is absurd stuff.

Now if you don't agree with Obama on specific issues based on the actual policy then obviously that doesn't make you a racist. These are two different things.

Stop trying to confuse the issue.

There is obviously racism involved in some of the attitudes directed at Obama, denying that is ridiculous.

It would be just as ridiculous to say that every single person that disagrees with Obama on policy is racist (which again, NOBODY is saying.)

I disagree with Obama on many of his policy moves thus far. But I sure as hell don't think he was born in Kenya, and I don't think he's a Nazi. If you can't tell the difference between disagreements based on policy and pure irrational hatred then you need to think about that for awhile. That's your own issue.

The video is made by people who are making everyone who disagrees with Obama as racists. Just like you saying that someone who thinks Obama was born in Kenya or is like a Nazi is a racist. People can believe those things without any racism.

Oh no I saw it and agree with your point I'm just asking why we're bringing it up after the recent thread where I was criticized for even mentioning that some of the people against Obama actually are racists.

We already know there is racism and we know there is reverse racism. Racism is alive and well.

It's ok to talk about racism now then?

That is the dumbest phrase I see repeated. Reverse racism, reverse discrimination.

It's like saying foreign import or "internet is on computer now"

Either it's discrimination or it's not. Either it's racism or it's not.

What is this reverse stuff? Equality. It makes no sense.

Not sure where you are going with this, it is like you have some authority to say when we can discuss certain subjects or not.

This thread is about racism, reverse-racism, political tactics using racism and even racists are welcome to post here so we can make fun of their backwards thinking and how miserable of a life they must have.

And you don't see the difference? It seems the thread in question basically was saying "everyone" who didn't like obama was a racist, which fits along with what the video I linked to tries to portray as well. If you can't see this, then it is obvious you don't realize that it isn't truth.
