Hello mates... I'm wanting to start a network of sites, then I started to see these things about C-Class IP to do interlinking... I read about penalities on backlinks coming from the same C-Class IP... Then I saw a network of sites called "GirlsGoGames"...they have a lot of sites, in a lot of languages... I just saw a few of the sites, and they're mostly from 1 single IP... IP: 212.72.60.181 girlsgogames.de girlsgogames.fr girlsgogames.it girlsgogames.pl girlsgogames.com IP: 212.72.60.182 girlsgogames.nl IP: 212.72.60.221 girlsgogames.co.uk And now...What a surprise! Almost 100% of their backlinks come from the other sites of the network...what mean: backlinks from the same IP, or backlinks from same C-Class IP... Not, another surprise! Their smallest website is in 82k alexa ranking...a lot of sites are about 10-20k alexa ranking, and the biggest one (the .com) is one of the 1k biggest sites of the world... AND ALL THEIR BACKLINKS COME FROM THE OTHER SITES OF THE NETWORK! What means, Google don't give a crap to the IP... Or they are using Cheat Engine? hahaha Comments please...
Google is not as concerned about the IP address and focuses more on the domain name. However, it is Google would rather you not link to the same sites if they reside on the same C-class.
Oh yeah, they like sites without links from same C-Class Coz that they give 891731983721983 FCKING SERPS POWER to girlsgogames.com, one of the 500 biggests sites of America, 1k biggest sites of the World, who has 90% of the backlinks coming from same C-Class (or worst: from same IP!!!)
I've been saying this for ages.... a)99.9% of sites on the internet are on shared IPs so it is totally natural to have incoming links from the same C Class and IP. b) If you have more than one site is is your right to link them. Especially if they are relevant or related. c) Having quality inbound links from related sites is one of the most important factors in SEO. Far more important than where those sites are hosted or who owns them. d) Excessive interlinking and interlinking from unrelated sites on the same C class can cause you headaches (but it's not catastrophic) e) What is excessive interlinking? I don't know, but In the interests of being rather safe than sorry I try to keep it below below about 20 sites per IP.
like people, websites are not equal 100 new sites interlinking from same ip = spam sites like this Created on..............: 2007-07-24. Expires on..............: 2018-07-24. and 1k alexa rating = not spam
I know, my mate But when they started it, they are all new sites, with high Alexa Ranking... I'll start already with a 70k alexa ranking site, and a lot of minor sites... The biggest has domain registration until 2014, and the other I can easily register until 2014, too...
I've mentioned this before, but I don't think spreading your sites around different IPs will effect SEO. I mean, unless you were doing something black hat to begin with. IPv4 space is very limited. Buying new IPs just to get more PR juice is a waste. The only legit reason for needing a dedicated IP these days are for servers (of course) and SSL certs.
I won't do any blackhat seo =) I'll interlink the sites, but all will be from the same theme (games), just in different languages... =)
