How to invite the Alexa Crawler? [old links are dead]

    Just use any addon that shows alexa rank in your browser and the crawler will come :)

    Great tip...thanks. Does anyone think that one of the traffic addons would look out of place on my website, rattlecake.com? Thanks for your honest opinion on placement.

    Well, Sparky is too bad and IE Toolbar is much better! any better addon to invite the crawler?!!

    I actually was just on the Alexa website and they have 3 or 4 to choose from. I think it was under tools or widgets off of their main page.

    You can invite the Alexa Crawler at: www[DOT]alexa.com/help/webmasters "Remove the [DOT]" or simply go to your site with the Alexa Toolbar loaded in your web browser.

    I just tested it and it works fine for me, asks me to login and gives me the success page.

    man! that page is available but when you fill the "URL form" (at end of the page) and click on "Crawl My Site" then you will get an error message! please check it and report me! Thanks!
