What is "WAREZ" I am still confused.

    Hello every one!

    I just read the word "WAREZ" everywhere, but I still don't know what exactly is. I think is related to games, but what exactly it is? Why, for example, is not allowed in so many websites? I am asking because many of my members are asking to add warez to my site, but I am still unable to understand what's all about warez.

    Warez is copyrighted material purchased/sold illegally.

    Warez comes from softwares as generally software is distributed illegally.

    The term is now associated with copyrighted music, games and even movies.

    Warez refers moreso to the "scene" and "releasing" of the software itself too.

    There is a scene dedicated to it.

    Warez are cracked programs. They also include movies, MP3 songs, music videos, ebooks, scripts, templates, etc. Everything is illegal and pirated.
