A lot of people heard of Google Sandbox but still doesn’t know what it does. Google is having problem controlling spam sites because of the sudden increase of websites on the Internet and that’s when Google Sandbox was created.

Google Sandbox is the place where your new sites will be. It will stay there for 3 months or more while quality is being checked. This is another way of Google to control those spam sites.

    More details: http://yourdailyguide.org/google-sandbox-what-it-does-and-how-to-deal-with-it/

What do you think of the Google Sandbox? Is it a good move made by Google in controlling spam sites?

Some folks say the SandBox is a myth, like Santa Clause.. But i've seen it and felt it's wrath - i know it's real..
The best way to deal with it? some rope and a wobbly stool..

I don't know if there is any fixed time period for sandboxing as you mentioned above.

I've dealt with it many times in my field.

It's inevitable for newer sites so when it occurs be prepared to spend several months climbing your way out.

The absolute best advice I can give to escape the sandbox is to build really authoritative links to your website. That's the only method I've found that truly works.

True, building authoritative links to your website is the best way for me as well because if a lot of authoritative sites link to your website then it only shows that it is a quality website. I guess that's one way SEs check if it's a quality or spam website.

I find wordpress powered sites are less likely to get sandboxed. Make sure your site is first found by google through quality backlinks.

I am not sure that Google Sandbox is that successful. I could be wrong though with little experience in this space.

It a good way to catch a lot of sites that are just a hiss and a bang and then fade away.

During being in the sandbox if your site is optimized you should still receive traffic from the other major search engines that will return results quicker.

I agree but it's not that successful so far since even some quality sites are being placed there.
