Hello everyone. I was looking the web for the latest seo trends and the ways to implement them when a thought occurred to me. Why not we use this post as a daily (or as you guys wish) discussion thread? List what are the current seo techniques you are using, what are the new ones, what are the old ones you are still sticking to. I will start by sharing what i am currently following: 1) Article Submissions - Twice a week on relevant topics, try to keep the content fresh and originial. 2) Adding Pages to website - this i have started just lately, i try to add atleast one page daily to my website (landing pages). I also take care of the internal linking factor. 3) Forum participation 4) Social Bookmarking - i consider this a very important factor, i book mark anything (besides my own website content) that i find useful, interesting or worth sharing 5) Back linking - this is yet another important tool, i work on it on daily basis 6) press release - i must admit im a little hesitant on this one thing. So this is my list, what do you guys do? anything that you feel i must do or anything that im not doing correct? Share your expertise
Thanks for the valuable post. I do blog commenting and web2.0 for link building. Using social networks like twitter and facebook too...
I mostly work w/ web 2.0 props. I hit up EZA and GoArticles to leave my well written articles on. Sig links come into play as well and look for relevant blogs. I do SBM my client's sites - especially like Digg.
What you are doing sounds good to go with. What is your historical progress report on gaining popularity or traffic?
Writing everyday is good, but once you have a strong number you need to focus more on the rest. In the end spending time to work your SERP will get your traffic to grow exponentially.
the current website i am working on is 3months old , in fact seo is being done on it for just 2 months now. So no huge traffic bursts uptill now, pr is also 0 but iv made it good in serp's. SEO is all about being patient and consistent
no problem... but i would really appreciate if someone points out if i am missing something or is there something else that needs to be or can be done.
yes i keep this fact in mind, the landing pages that i make or the content that i add are as fresh and original as possible (i write them my self) and i maintain a low-medium keyword ratio
