Ok, so I could care less if Google drops the pagerank bar or not.. In fact, I think it would do a lot of good for the search world if they did. However, the rumors flying around saying they have totally stopped updating pagerank is not true. In fact, I noticed a lot of photo sites like photobucket.com lost pagerank in the last 24-48 hours.. I do not know why Google would bother to make updates if they were planning to totally drop it.
One of my sites get a PR0 from N/A.And for another site, some inner pages get pagerank 2.So I think Google is updating Pagerank.
There are quite a few people who feel the same way... However, whether you like it or not, Google say's the toolbar PR is here to stay. (for now anyway) Cheers James
Great news, if it's true. As someone said, "PR is too much of Google's branding for them to drop it".
yes they said that google is going now for small updates every few weeks/days so webmaster will not see any drastic changes. however in the long run (lets say a year from now) the seo parameters might be change alittle bit more.
I was reading everywhere that it was supposed happen the first week of October, and now I'm hearing from alot of places that it'll be in November. Oh well, we'll wait and see
noone knows. all guys are just telling prediction. there is 0 value in that. it could be this november and could be not.
My site is relatively new in the last few weeks. How often does Google update pagerank? Is there a minimum time that passes before Google ranks my site?
