About same C-Class IP and SEO

    Hello mates...

I'm wanting to start a network of sites, then I started to see these things about C-Class IP to do interlinking...

I read about penalities on backlinks coming from the same C-Class IP...

Then I saw a network of sites called "GirlsGoGames"...they have a lot of sites, in a lot of languages...

I just saw a few of the sites, and they're mostly from 1 single IP...

    IP: 212.72.60.181
    girlsgogames.de
    girlsgogames.fr
    girlsgogames.it
    girlsgogames.pl
    girlsgogames.com

    IP: 212.72.60.182
    girlsgogames.nl

    IP: 212.72.60.221
    girlsgogames.co.uk

    And now...What a surprise!

Almost 100% of their backlinks come from the other sites of the network...what mean: backlinks from the same IP, or backlinks from same C-Class IP...

    Not, another surprise!

Their smallest website is in 82k alexa ranking...a lot of sites are about 10-20k alexa ranking, and the biggest one (the .com) is one of the 1k biggest sites of the world...
AND ALL THEIR BACKLINKS COME FROM THE OTHER SITES OF THE NETWORK!

What means, Google don't give a crap to the IP...
Or they are using Cheat Engine? hahaha

    Comments please...

Congratulations - you discovered one of Google's best kept secrets - they are lying about almost everything when it comes to manipulation of webmasters and SEOs! Try to tell the self proclaimed Gurus that keyword and description meta tags still count (but not the way they imagine or try to use them) and they stop every conversation because they think you are freaking.

Keep the good work going and don't listen too much to the so called experts, specially those using the DP mantra "you need more links" - those are the ones who have absolutely no clue about what the three letters (SEO) really mean. ;)

i guess manipulation is ok as long as it does not catch attention from Google:)

@monfis : Some of us actually know what we are doing with regards to SEO. If you know so much about how Google tracks keyword and description meta tags that the experts are missing, we'd love to be educated.

Are you asking me to give away for free what did cost me countless hours of studies and testing? Not to talk about the money I spent and I am spending on domains, hosting, creating ... just to find out?

Ps. Never had a doubt that there are some good SEO out there.

If there s some site which is penalized on a IP then other sites on same IP are also likely to be penalized.

So, finally it boils down to one thing - links are links. Any link is good whether from same class IP address, or whatever.

I tried this method with about 50 sites installed equally on 10 different C Class IPs.
That didn't worked for me though.

Don't interlink each and every website with each other as it will create a Web Ring which Google strongly opposed.

I guess we should not hit our head about this issue.

Let him create 100s of domain on same IP with diff TLD. Let his website contain duplicate content. Let him connect across network sites. And bearing the cost for all to run the websites. Google is observing every moves thats why his only .com website is having more alexa as he invested money or worked hard for that and others domain creeping on the web.

So do not worry, lets Google work and gets back to our business :)

Exactly, it's just honeymoon period for theses type of sites or sites using bad techniques and as soon google detect they will be banned soon. Also one of my friend's site banned suddenly that was running successfully amon top for more than one year and now it is penalized.

Not true, I have a number of sites on the same IP, one was a directory I purchased, it got delisted from Google within about 2 months of the purchase. I still keep it as it gets good traffic still, and none of my other sites on that IP have taken a hit. It has been about 10 months since the delisting, no ill effects at all.

Exactly, everything is fair only until Google detects it:D I know a couple of networks that are running successfully, earning a lot of traffic and lot of adsense money...on the other hand, I have seen instant penalties by Google for the same:eek:

    I don't know...
I think google just penalize Spam-Like sites...

If you have good unique content, A LOT OF OTHERS BACKLINKS (apart from the network), and these things...it won't flag as Spam...

But if you have 10928 sites, all with same ip, the unique backlinks are from others sites from same IP, and with copied content...Ban Hammer >.<

Not a big surprise really. All this talk of buying extra IP addresses for SEO is, and has always been bullshit. Anyone telling you to do so is just selling snake oil.

If all it took to get the first spot on a SERP was a bunch of different IP addresses on different networks, google would be much more spam filled then it is today.

You've completely thrown out the trust factor. For whatever reason, big G trusts these guys. (Umm... perhaps because users do? I know that Alexa ranking isn't 100% google traffic).

It doesn't matter where their links come from. They've already been deemed as authoritative.
