You can try this page: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=10036 Our policies permit publishers to place the following number of ads on a webpage: * Up to three ad units * Up to three link units * Up to two search boxes If you've placed more than the permitted number of ads on a webpage, ads will only show in the units that do not exceed the allotted amount.
If you place more on your page I would imagine you would get banned rather than just not displaying any ads.
3 ad units,3 link units and 2 searches. But keep it to 2 ad units, 1 link and 1 search. Your eCPM will be better that way.
Do you have too many ad units on your site? Our policies permit publishers to place the following number of ads on a webpage: * Up to three ad units * Up to three link units * Up to two search boxes If you've placed more than the permitted number of ads on a webpage, ads will only show in the units that do not exceed the allotted amount. if google support says like this why do you say you would get banned
More ads does't mean more money. Some people go overboard with the ads just because google allows it they put them all, but I think it makes your site look like crap, and it actually reduces revenue. I say 1 or 2 ads tops if you run a quality site.
Hey guys, I do not know much about adsense...but can you tell me what exactly are ad units and link units. actually in my website i have a huge place in the right hand side which i want to give to Google. You can check articlesun.info In the right hand side you can find full space. What can i do when google approve my adsense account? And what are all those ad units, link units etc.?
ad links or text links are your choices of ads you can choose to be place in your site. You will be given option as to what will fit your site.
3 units is maximum but I think that 2 units will be enough. If you have more ads that does not mean that you will earn more money. Maby you should test your site with 2 units first and than with 3 units to see what works best for you.
